Prototype scope & technical references
This first prototype demonstrates hydronic equipment exploration. The two room renderings use manufacturer product references and separate piping briefs for flow-through and primary/secondary. They are review illustrations, not BIM assemblies or construction drawings. Product-reference images come directly from the manufacturers. Known render defects remain: the KN supply appears attached to upper burner hardware; the RBI return-pump paths merge instead of clearly serving separate boilers; and the exchanger branch is not correctly resolved. These room images are appearance studies only and must not be used to explain piping. Use the separate connection diagrams for the intended circuit relationships. Accurate modeled piping and technical review are required before customer publication. Manufacturer links are reference material; availability and application suitability require RME review. Steam, domestic hot water, pool and warehouse scenes are planned separately.
The June 2026 RME line card establishes represented categories. KN’s library lists BIM models, multiple-boiler primary/secondary and reverse-return piping drawings. RBI offers non-condensing through condensing equipment. External economizing and common venting are application-dependent, not requirements for every condensing installation.
